Nestled at the southernmost point of the Baja California Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, is one of the most perfect vacation destinations with all-around perfect weather. Cabo San Lucas, with its crystal-clear waters, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture, has captivated the hearts of travelers from around the world, including myself. From lounging on the beach to indulging in the local Mexican cuisine, Cabo San Lucas offers a unique and unforgettable experience that will leave you coming back year after year.

  • ACCOMODATION

First and foremost, Cabo offers a variety of accommodations to suit every budget and preference. There are many resorts and hotels located in the area that I am familiar with, as well as vacation rentals and breathtaking Airbnb properties.

Some of the popular resorts that I’ve enjoyed in Cabo include the Viceroy Los Cabos, ME Cabo, and the Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa. My personal favorite, however, is Cabo Azul located in San Jose, about 20 minutes from San Lucas.  Even though the beach at Cabo Azul is not swimmable due to the high tides, it is really one of the perfect beachfront resorts with attentive staff, and restaurants to die for.

  • THINGS TO DO

Cabos nightlife is one of the most notorious as it has bars & nightclubs that are constantly poppin’ almost year around. It’s an experience, to say the least. If you enjoy hip-hop and reggae like myself, you’d enjoy Crush Nightspot. If you’re going for a chill vibe with great food and hookah, Taboo Beach Club and Funky Geisha are the spots for you.

If you're looking for a more upscale experience, head to Mandala. This stylish nightclub features a sleek, modern design and attracts a chic, sophisticated crowd. Getting back and forth between your hotel or villa is also easy since Uber is readily available and reliable.

For a taste of local culture, head to Cabo Wabo Cantina. Founded by rock legend Sammy Hagar, this popular bar and restaurant offers live music, delicious food, and a laid-back vibe. With its rustic decor and friendly atmosphere, Cabo Wabo Cantina is the perfect place to mingle with locals and soak up the local culture. Let me stop here at Cabos' lush nightlife because I can go on & on!

  • FOOD & CUISINE

The delicious local cuisine is to die for. The majority of the restaurants are influenced by their Mexican, Spanish, and seafood roots. There are many restaurants and bars located in the area that offer a variety of dining options, from casual beachside eateries to upscale fine-dining restaurants. Some of the most popular restaurants that I personally love include El Farallon at the swanky Waldorf and Rosa Negra, most notoriously known for their fire show.

Cabo is home to a rich and diverse culture that's influenced by its Mexican and Spanish roots. You can visit the San Jose del Cabo Art District to learn more about the area's culture and history. The district is home to many art galleries and shops that showcase the work of local artists and artisans. You can also visit the Cabo San Lucas Marina to see the traditional fishing boats and watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch. Be sure to check out Alexandar Restaurant on the Marina – a personal favorite of mine.

In addition to relaxing on the beach, there are many other activities to enjoy in Cabo. You can take a sunset cruise, go whale watching, horseback riding, or swim with sea lions in the Sea of Cortez.
